JOB SUMMARY: Sycamores provides a spectrum of equitable mental health services through various programs to multicultural populations of all acuities. Although it serves a variety of consumers, the agency focuses primarily on providing care to low-income, high-at- risk youth.
The role of the Research Assistant II (RA II) is to provide data management oversight, design instruments, conduct data analyses, prepare reports, and provide findings and feedback to multidisciplinary teams. This involves evaluating data related to key performance indicators, and program specific and agency outcome measures. The RA II will support the development of evaluation and research plans, grant writing and other research grants and strategic initiatives as determined by department leaders. The RA II may also oversee the undergraduate internship program to ensure that it is running efficiently and that intern’s talents are being maximized.
Starting Pay Range:
$21 - $23 per hour (starting pay will be based on previous work experience and educational background.)
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree required (preferred in Social Sciences) plus 1-2 years of related experience.
- Maintains all required licenses and certifications.
Additional Requirements:- Communicates effectively with diverse audiences.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Proficient in SPSS or other statistical software
- Extensive knowledge of research, design, and statistics
- Data entry/management experience required with the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding clinically sensitive data.
- Previous research lab, applied research, or evaluation.
