Research Assistant / Ophthalmic Technician
Reports to: Director of Clinical Research
Position Summary:
Assist in the care of patients and research study participants by performing portions of the patient exam and a variety of preliminary tests according to physician orders and nature of the patient visit.

The Research Assistant / Ophthalmic Technician works closely with physicians, patients, research participants, and other medical floor staff.

Work Conditions
This position is part of the Research and Retina teams at 800 N. First Street, Wausau, WI. Hours of work depend on the needs of the Clinic. Requires the ability to sit or stand for
extended periods of time. Occasional lifting (30 pounds), bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs is required.
