Research Associate

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform formulation development and physicochemical assessments to support early-stage and development programs.

Conduct routine and specialized analytical methods (e.g., HPLC) to support formulation development.

Independently design and execute a wide range of laboratory experiments using relevant systems and methods.

Designs and executes experiments of new technologies for in-house use.

Ability to perform limited troubleshooting with formulation methods and analytical instrumentation.

Maintain accurate and compliant laboratory records and review notebooks of team members for quality.

Ensure compliance with all company policies, SOPs, and safety standards.

Prepare and deliver scientific presentations for internal meetings and team discussions.

Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years, or master’s degree with 2+ years of industry or lab-based experience.

Some knowledge of FDA regulatory requirements such as commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures for drug development {Preferred, not required)

Some experience running HPLC methods is desired

Excellent verbal and communication skills.

Strong technical laboratory skills, such as pipetting, weighing compounds, attention to detail, data analysis, documentation and problem solving

Statistical and graphical analysis of data.

Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Can work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

Able to perform essential duties consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.

Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
