Overview
The VA Maine Healthcare System is seeking candidates to fill a research coordinator role within their facility. This is NOT a virtual position; we will require personnel to report to the VA Medical Center in Augusta Maine. The incumbent must possess a Bachelor of Science in the medical field or allied health and must be a US citizen. The Department of Veteran’s Affairs is an equal opportunity employer. Duties
- Oversee the planning, execution, and management of clinical research studies.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and institutional policies throughout all phases of research.
- Conduct blood sampling and vital sign assessments as part of clinical trials.
- Manage data collection processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
- Review documentation related to clinical laboratory procedures and research protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective communication and project progress.
- Train and mentor staff on compliance management and best practices in clinical research.
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders on study findings and progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in clinical research management or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations governing clinical trials.
- Experience with blood sampling techniques and vital signs assessment.
- Familiarity with data collection methodologies and documentation review processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Prior experience with mental health research or ecological momentary assessment.

Pay: $59,966.00 - $94,317.00 per year
