**Seeking a Research Assistant in St. Louis, MO**

Location: St.Louis, MO

Pay: $24/hour + potential raise after 90 days

We are seeking a detail-oriented Research Assistant with an Ophthalmic Technician / Scribe background to join a fast-paced and patient-focused ophthalmology practice. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on ophthalmology experience who enjoys working closely with providers and playing a key role in patient care.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide clinical support to ophthalmologists during patient visits
• Accurately document patient encounters in real time (scribe duties)
• Perform patient intake, including medical histories and preliminary testing
• Assist with ophthalmic procedures and ensure smooth clinic flow
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 1 year of medical scribe experience ( ophthalmology strongly preferred )
• Experience as an intake technician or ophthalmic tech
• Strong understanding of ophthalmology workflows and terminology
• Ability to work closely with physicians in a high-volume setting
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Nice to Have (Big Plus):

• Prior ophthalmology scribing experience
• Familiarity with ophthalmic testing and equipment
