Company Overview: Dancing Fire Glamping & RV Resort is an RV campground and outdoor resort with Full Service 30/50 Amp RV sites, including Glamping units such as Deluxe Cabins, A-Frames, Safari Tents, Vintage Campers, Park Model Cottages and Vacation Homes. We are seeking a candidate with a proven work ethic and a passion for excellence who can ensure that each of our guests and accommodations are kept to the highest five-star standard.

The Full-Time Reservation Specialist/Resort Manager in Training is expected to provide a warm welcome to all guests entering the resort, while maintaining accurate guest reservations using proper procedures and systems. They will also be responsible for assisting the RV Resort employees with all aspects of day-to-day operations while learning the fundamental business practices that drive the resort.

On Season Job Duties:

  • Provides Exceptional Customer Service and Hospitality, serves as point of contact for customers, employees, residents, and guests.
  • Answering and responding to all calls and emails, checking in and out guests
  • Accurately posting charges and payments to guest reservations and balancing each day.
  • Collecting monthly payments on seasonal reservations.
  • Ability to meet and/or exceed customer service expectations
  • Enforces resort rules and regulations
  • Coordinate on site events and promoting and host recreation activities during holidays and themed weekends
  • Works with Regional Manager to effectively address issues which would adversely affect operations or guest satisfaction
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and on call during park season
  • Attentive team support
  • Ability to work in an environment involves frequent squatting, bending, twisting, lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Schedule and help oversee any front desk staff, housekeeping staff, maintenance staff and subcontractors
  • Assist with marketing
  • Other assigned duties as needed

Off Season Job Duties:

  • Responding timely to leads and booking reservations
  • Some vendor management
  • Continue to maintain excellent customer service to guests by sending marketing correspondence to all customers regularly

Supervisory Responsibility: Position is supervisory to the extent that work direction, delegation and assistance may be provided to park employees, contractors, and temporary laborers.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Advanced computer proficiency including email, Campspot, Reservation Software Programs, Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Point of Sale experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of motivation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to endure seasonal temperatures as working conditions require constant outdoor work
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong Customer Service Skills and capable of providing fun, friendly attitude with a smile

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week (fluctuating between off-season, in-season)
