Reservations / Ticketing Agent

Gulf Air operates Bahrain’s national airline with regional and international routes.

This role sits in Gulf Air’s Commercial / Customer Service / Reservations department, supporting passengers with bookings and travel arrangements.

Job Description:

1. Flight reservations & ticketing (core duty)

Handle flight bookings for passengers and travel agents

Issue, reissue, and cancel airline tickets

Manage fare quotes, seat availability, and flight schedules

Process refunds and ticket changes

2. Customer service support

Assist passengers via phone, email, or counter

Answer queries about baggage rules, fares, and policies

Help resolve booking issues or travel disruptions

Provide accurate flight information

3. System & administrative work

Work with airline reservation systems (GDS platforms)

Update passenger records and booking details

Coordinate with airport operations and sales teams

Maintain accuracy in ticketing and documentation

4. Coordination with other departments

Work with airport check-in staff and operations teams

Support sales teams and travel agents

Escalate complex booking or fare issues

Skills required:

Experience in airline reservations / ticketing / travel agency preferred

Knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo)

Strong communication skills (English essential)

Customer service experience

Ability to work under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From BD650.000 per month

Work Location: In person
