Resident Aide/Caregiver

• Open interview Monday - Friday from 10 am -3 pm

Staff are required to work every other weekend.

Available overtime, paid holidays, and growth with inside the company

`Duties```
- Provide direct care and support to residents in a residential facility
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document residents' health status and report any changes to the appropriate personnel
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
- Encourage and support residents in participating in social and recreational activities

```Requirements```
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a nursing home or working with people with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of direct support principles and practices
- Ability to lift and transfer residents using proper lifting techniques
- Familiarity with emergency response systems and first aid procedures
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
