Resident Assistant

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct support and care to residents in a home care setting.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote a safe and supportive environment.
- Support residents in maintaining a clean and organized living space.
- Drive residents to appointments, outings, and social activities.
- Utilize computer systems to document resident information and communicate with the team.
- Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Requirements:

- Ability to lift and assist residents with mobility needs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Experience in social work or direct support is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
