Assisting nursing personnel in providing non-professional nursing care and simple resident services, under the direction and supervision of the Health Service Director.

Responsibilities

• Provides care as directed by Health Service Director to residents.
• Reports observations and other pertinent information related to the care of the resident.
• Gives general assistance to residents including but not limited to assistance with clothing changes, personal and oral hygiene, using the bathroom, and feeding.
• Providing companionship to residents and establishing a trusting relationship with them.
• Ensuring that residents are taking their prescribed medication.
• Help transfer residents according to facility procedure.
• Perform other duties as assigned and as outlined in Procedure and Policy manual and disaster and fire plan.
• Change bed linens according to facility policy. Provide laundry services as necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
