Care Aide & Medication Technician

Location: Holiday, FL 34690
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Shifts Available:

• Second Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Third Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 per week (Full-Time)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Aide and Medication Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to residents, support their daily living needs, and help maintain a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment. A passion for senior and dementia care is essential, as you will be making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications, take vital signs, and perform routine medical tests.
• Assist residents with daily living needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversations and social activities to reduce loneliness and promote emotional well-being.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s unique needs.
• Provide dementia care, including behavior management and emotional support.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal resident care.
• Assist with administrative duties, including documentation and medical records management.
• Safely lift and transfer residents

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience (Required).
• Medication Technician experience: 1 year (Preferred).
• Experience in assisted living, retirement homes, or similar healthcare settings.
• Prior experience with dementia care, senior care, or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly valued.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
