Resident Engineer – Cybersecurity (On-Site, Saudi Arabia)

We are seeking a Resident Security Engineer to work directly with enterprise clients in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, delivering expert guidance on cybersecurity best practices, incident response, and threat intelligence. You’ll leverage leading technology to assess vulnerabilities, strengthen defenses, and provide hands-on support to protect mission-critical assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Support clients with incident response and threat detection activities.
  • Advise on cybersecurity strategies, architecture, and best practices.
  • Implement and optimize security technologies including SIEM, endpoint, and network protection tools.
  • Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to ensure a proactive and resilient security posture.


Skills & Experience:

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT, networking systems, and common security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, etc.).
  • Incident Response: Hands-on experience managing or supporting cybersecurity incidents.
  • Vulnerability Management: Familiarity with threat and vulnerability management tools and processes.
  • Threat Intelligence: Awareness of current attack vectors and evolving cyber threats.
  • Cloud & On-Prem Security: Knowledge of modern cloud and hybrid security principles.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (preferred).
  • Certifications: CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or similar are highly valued.
  • Experience: Previous experience in IT, networking, or cybersecurity roles is essential.
