Position Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Resident Engineer with extensive experience in managing and supervising residential and tower building projects in Dubai. The successful candidate will act as the Engineer on site, ensuring that design, quality, and construction objectives are achieved in line with contractual and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily site operations, ensuring compliance with contract documents, design intent, and specifications.
• Act as the primary liaison between the client, contractor, and consultancy office team.
• Ensure full compliance with relevant local authority requirements (e.g., Nakheel, Trakhees, DDA, Dubai Municipality, DCD, etc).
• Review and approve the contractor’s shop drawings, materials, and method statements.
• Monitor progress, quality, safety, and cost control on site.
• Lead site meetings, issue site instructions, and provide technical guidance to ensure timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines (Structural, MEP, QS, and Contracts teams) to resolve issues proactively.
• Prepare and submit progress reports and updates to management and the client.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Dubai in residential and high-rise projects .
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
• UAE Society of Engineers membership and Dubai Municipality accreditation preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Dubai authority requirements, including Nakheel, Trakhees, DDA, and Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defense .
• Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, site supervision, and technical standards.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure project milestones are achieved.
