Resident Engineer

• Pioneer Engineering Consultancy is hiring a Resident Engineer (RE) to join our supervision team in the United Arab Emirates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the client’s representative on site and lead the supervision team.
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Review and approve IRs/MIRs, shop drawings, method statements, and as-built drawings.
• Monitor quality, progress, and HSE performance and highlight delays or non-conformities.
• Chair/attend site meetings, issue site instructions, and coordinate with contractors, authorities, and stakeholders.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and support in claims / variations review.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in construction supervision, including previous RE/Deputy RE roles (consultancy experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of building/infrastructure standards, specifications, and contract administration.
• Proven leadership, coordination, and communication skills with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with local authority requirements in the UAE/GCC.
• Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
