Job Title: Resident Engineer – Civil

Location: UAE

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Resident Engineer (Civil) with previous experience in consultancy role and extensive onsite experience managing high-rise & mixed use projects in UAE and GCC. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading site supervision, ensuring project compliance, delivering projects on time and within the budget and maintaining quality and safety standards across all phases of construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead site activities for high-rise building projects.
• Act as the key liaison between client, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure all work complies with approved designs, drawings, and regulations.
• Review and approve technical documentation, reports, and site progress.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance and safety measures on-site.
• Resolve technical and contractual issues in coordination with stakeholders.
• Provide strong leadership and mentoring to site teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including at least 10 years in the GCC.
• Minimum 5 years as Resident Engineer.
• Strong background working with consultants & mixed use .
• Proven track record supervising high-rise projects.
• Excellent onsite experience with technical problem-solving skills.
• Solid knowledge of building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and reporting abilities.
• Professional Engineering license/chartership is an advantage.
• Good knowledge in P6 and other software
• Registered with Authorities.
• Strong background in Contractual & commercial matters
