Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. The ideal candidate will bring extensive international and UAE experience in civil engineering projects have a proven track record working with engineering consultancy firms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the client’s representative on-site to monitor contractor performance
• Ensure construction work meets design drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Approve materials, methods, and progress payments in coordination with the client
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for project progress
• Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and contractual requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 20+ years of overall experience in civil engineering projects
• Minimum 8 years of UAE experience
• Previous/current experience in an engineering consultancy firm
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, codes, and regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and large-scale projects
