Resident Engineer

Job Summary

The Resident Engineer (RE) will oversee and manage high-rise building projects, ensuring construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules. The successful candidate will coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and authorities to deliver projects efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities for high-rise building projects.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, UAE codes, and authority requirements.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and schedule performance.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience, including at least 10 years in the UAE.
• Proven experience in supervising and managing high-rise building projects is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations and authority procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Available to join immediately or within one month of client approval.
