Resident Engineer for Delma Island

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer with strong leadership skills and a solid civil engineering background for a challenging project.

Project Location: Delma Island, Western Region, Abu Dhabi.
Note: The selected candidate must be permanently based on Delma Island for the full project duration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to achieve project goals effectively.
• Ensure that all works comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality requirements.
• Review and approve design plans, technical specifications, and progress reports.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve any on-site engineering challenges.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address potential issues.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in a supervisory role on-site.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management tools.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects effectively.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure seamless coordination.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, or similar).
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and adaptability.
