Responsibilities
-
Act as The Engineer on Site in accordance with the Contract, responsible for supervising construction works.

Manage and direct the supervision team across structural, mechanical, electrical, architectural, and specialist disciplines.

Ensure compliance of construction works with design intent, specifications, contract documents, and authority regulations.

Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and site queries.

Chair site progress meetings, technical discussions, and coordination workshops with contractors.

Monitor contractor performance, site progress, and quality of works.

Lead inspections, witness testing, and oversee commissioning activities for all systems.

Prepare site instructions, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and progress reports as required under the Contract.

Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.

Mentor, supervise, and support junior engineers and inspectors.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree is an advantage.

Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in the role of Resident Engineer.

Proven track record in high-rise or large-scale building supervision projects in Dubai.

Strong knowledge of multidisciplinary design and construction supervision under FIDIC contracts.

Familiarity with authority approval processes in Dubai (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, DCD).

Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
