The Opportunity:

Resident Inspector (for Supervision of Dam Projects)

In order to provide a quality and satisfactory service to our clients, we are looking for experts that apart from having excellent knowledge and experience in their field, also possess personal traits such as flexibility in their work environment, team work attribute as well as leadership spirit.

Job Description:

• Oversee all on-site dam construction activities, including embankments, spillways, grouting, and related earthworks.
• Conduct inspections to confirm that all construction work and materials meet the project specifications and approved standards.
• Ensure compliance with the project's design, environmental regulations, and health and safety standards.
• Record findings, identify incorrect procedures, and communicate technical information to the Resident Engineer. Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Help resolve on-site technical and design issues by communicating with contractors and escalating unresolved matters to the Resident Engineer.
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and other site staff to ensure project activities are coordinated effectively.
• Assist with reviewing work plans, method statements, and material submittals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering;
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Hydro/Dam Projects.
• Must have extensive experience in the supervision of dam construction, with specific requirements varying by the project.
• Proficiency in English language (spoken and written).
