Resident Medical Officer

Ø Handing and taking over of the patients and ongoing treatment details from previous shift Doctor properly and document the same

Ø To provide medical cover, routine and emergency, during hours of duty and work in conjunction with the other RMO to provide a 24 hour service to the hospital

Ø Check and assess urgent admissions as required when the relevant consultant is not immediately available

Ø To undertake a morning and evening ward round daily ensuring patients are visited where appropriate and communicate any medical problems or concerns to Consultants

Ø Performing initial assessment of the medical and physical status of patients in both emergency and admitted patients

Ø Evaluating patient’s symptoms and recording the progress notes

Ø Maintaining patient’s medical records to document all medications and results

Ø Ensure proper medication to the patient as prescribed by the consultant and providing patient education

Ø Communicating patient on various topics related to their fitness and hygiene

Ø Ensure proper ordering of test and examinations being conducted for the individual patient

Ø Provide training to nursing staffs as per pre-defined schedule as well as whenever required

Ø Ensure proper medical care is being provided to the patients in case of both pre and post-surgery and Assisting in surgeries

Ø Supervise the daily clinical management of all patients in conjunction with the nurse team leaders and under the guidance of Consultants and attend all post-operative patients on day of operation and every day following

Ø Respond to calls from the ward relating to patient care

Ø Assist in the day to day functions at the hospital and any other reasonable tasks, within their level of experience, requested by the hospital

Ø Ensure proper protocol is being followed for the discharge process and discuss medication on discharge with patients and write a discharge summary if requested

Any other duty assigned by the management as and when required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Jharsuguda, Orissa: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
