Resident Medical Officer

Job Summary:

The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) will be responsible for providing round-the-clock medical care to inpatients, assisting consultants in patient management, and handling medical emergencies. The role requires clinical competence, prompt decision-making, and adherence to hospital protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to admitted patients under the guidance of consultants.
• Conduct regular ward rounds and monitor patients’ clinical progress.
• Handle medical emergencies and provide immediate treatment as required.
• Assist consultants during procedures, investigations, and patient management.
• Ensure proper documentation of case sheets, progress notes, consent forms, and discharge summaries.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and allied healthcare professionals for patient care.
• Order and interpret routine investigations and initiate treatment accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and clinical protocols.
• Counsel patients and their relatives regarding treatment plans and progress.
• Participate in night duties, shifts, and on-call rotations as assigned.
• Maintain ethical medical practices and patient confidentiality at all times.

Eligibility Criteria:

• MBBS degree from a recognized medical college
• Registration with State Medical Council / NMC mandatory
• 0–3 years of experience preferred (freshers may apply)

Working Conditions:

• Rotational shifts including nights and weekends
• Full-time hospital-based role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
