Resident Services Manager - Personal Care

The Resident Services Manager for (Personal Care) is responsible for organization, supervision and administration of the total resident care program, including coordination of social, medical, psychological, spiritual and physical services for residents.

Qualifications:
  • Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse licensure (in state position is located) required
  • Active Personal Care Home Administrator license or ability to obtain required
  • Two years experience in Gerontology preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state regulations
  • Ability to instruct, direct and lead staff
  • Strong computer skills
Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Responsible for developing and implementing resident care policies/procedures and standards of practice.
  • Responsible for overall staffing and supervision of department.
  • Perform daily rounds to assure quality service.
  • Operate within budgetary guidelines.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings with all shifts.
  • Maintain appropriate resident records and prepares all required and requested reports.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal care needs of residents are met.
  • Responsible for comprehensive resident assessment and plan of care.
  • Knowledge of resident admission process and related regulations.
  • Maintain fiscal control of the department as measured by monthly financial statements.
  • Relate all necessary resident and staffing information to Administrator.
  • Assess accidents and develop and implement recommendations for follow-up.
  • Serve as interim PC Home Administrator, as necessary.
