Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Resident Transport Driver and Medical Appointment Attendant. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring our residents' access to medical care by driving them to and from doctor appointments while providing attentive support during these visits.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport residents to medical appointments, ensuring timely arrival and departure.
  • Assist residents in boarding and disembarking the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
  • Provide compassionate and supportive assistance during doctor appointments, ensuring residents feel at ease and facilitating effective communication between medical professionals and residents.
  • Schedule doctor appointments and manage calendar.
  • Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, conducting routine safety checks and adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with the nursing staff and other team members to ensure seamless coordination of resident transportation and appointments.
  • Uphold confidentiality and respect residents' privacy throughout all interactions.
  • Additional responsibilities will be discussed and assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class E driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • CBRF certification is required. Prior experience in caregiving, assisted living, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with individuals.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with residents and medical professionals.
  • Ability to handle varying mobility levels and assist residents in and out of vehicles.
  • Commitment to upholding safety measures and ensuring the well-being of residents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
