Job Title: Painter

Location: Fresh Coat Painters of Pace

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our maintenance team at Fresh Coat Painters of Pace. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of painting duties, including preparing surfaces, matching colors, and applying paints to ensure the interior and exterior of our facilities are well-maintained and visually appealing.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, scraping, sanding, or other means necessary.
• Apply paint, varnishes, and sealants for a finished surface.
• Perform minor drywall repairs, such as patching holes or fixing cracks, before painting.
• Set up and maintain tools and equipment, including brushes, rollers, tape, and ladders.
• Follow all safety guidelines related to painting procedures and the handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Coordinate with the team-lead to ensure that all painting projects are completed on time.
• Inspect and perform touch-ups or repairs to painted surfaces as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a painter in commercial or residential projects, including experience with minor drywall repairs.
• Proficient in using hand tools and motorized tools necessary for painting.
• Excellent understanding of commercial and residential painting techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
• High school diploma or equivalent; professional certification from a trade school is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
