Residential Architectural Designer

McPhee Associates is an award-winning family-owned, design and build firm that has been building and remodeling high-end Cape Cod residences since 1972.

We are seeking a talented Residential Architectural Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about residential design, skilled in producing clear construction documents, and comfortable working across all phases of a project — from concept through permitting and construction plans.

Qualifications:

· 7-10 years of experience in residential architecture and design

· Bachelors (or greater) degree in Architecture

· Strong understanding of residential construction methods and detailing

· Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD

· Knowledge of local building codes and zoning regulations

Job Responsibilities:

· Meeting with clients and developing a professional relationship

· Research town departments about projects in preparation of design

· Prepare permit and planning submittal packages

· Field measure properties and develop existing conditions plans

· Develop residential designs from schematic design through construction documents

· Coordinate with structural, MEP, and energy consultants

Benefits:

· This is a full time, in person role at our East Dennis office.

· Compensation ranges from $85,000 - $104,000 depending on experience
