Residential & Bulk Dispatcher / Supervisor

Superior Waste & Recycling is seeking a reliable and organized Residential & Bulk Dispatcher / Supervisor to oversee daily trash and bulk pickup operations. This role is responsible for supervising crews, coordinating routes, and ensuring efficient service delivery across residential and bulk pickup programs.

This is a full-time position with an expected schedule of 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM Monday-Friday (very occasional Saturdays will be required.)

Key responsibilities

• Supervise residential trash and bulk pickup operations
• Coordinate and manage daily dispatching of drivers and crews
• Oversee residential trash routes operating 6 days per week
• Ensure efficient service across Worcester and surrounding towns
• Manage bulk item and mattress pickup services throughout central Massachusetts and New England
• Monitor productivity, service quality, and route completion

Operating Oversight

• Bulk pickup crews:
• Supervise teams consisting of 3 drivers, 3 helpers, and 3 trucks
• Oversee services including
• Curbside pickup
• House cleanouts
• Transfer station pickups (mattresses, tires, etc)
• Light demolition work
• Residential trash operations
• Supervise 1 driver and 1 truck
• Manage approximately 400-500 weekly stops

Qualifications

• Bilingual a plus (English and Spanish)
• 1-3 years of working with trucks and/or industrial equipment
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple crews and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $58,000 - $62,000/year
