RESIDENTIAL CABINETRY SALES & DESIGN CONSULTANT
About the Role:
We are a growing interior products company looking for a driven Residential Cabinetry Sales & Design Consultant to serve as the dedicated point of contact for our residential cabinet division. This is a unique split-environment role — you'll engage customers at our main showroom for sales appointments and collaborate closely with our production team for estimating, planning, and oversight. You'll help us grow our premium in-house cabinetry offerings and drive higher-margin custom cabinet sales.
What You'll Do:
- Qualify residential customers visiting our showroom; guide them through cabinet selections and options
- Follow established sales procedures and gather project details to form accurate quotes and rough floor plans
- Collaborate with our production lead to estimate build timelines and coordinate shop scheduling
- Actively present and upsell premium and custom cabinet options, positioning quality and value to customers
- Serve as the dedicated liaison between sales, production, and residential project management
- Support growth of cabinet sales, countertop/stone shop revenue, and millwork utilization
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in cabinet, flooring, or interior product sales or a willingness to learn and a quick study.
- Interior design knowledge or background (preferred but not required)
- Comfortable selling premium and custom products
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Ability to read basic floor plans or produce rough layouts
