Job Overview:
As a Residential Case Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating residential services for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD). This role involves supporting clients and their families to ensure the highest quality of care, promoting independent living skills, and facilitating productive and meaningful lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 15 to 20 adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
- Oversee all aspects of residential services, including staff supervision, scheduling, training, and retention.
- Conduct performance evaluations, address employee concerns, and implement disciplinary actions as needed.
- Develop, coordinate, and monitor programs in line with the Service Plan.
- Conduct home visits and environmental monitoring to ensure compliance with agency standards and IDD regulations.
- Complete and submit monthly paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
- Provide rotating on-call coverage as required.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Experience in case management and service coordination.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and planning abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, adapt to change, and respond positively to feedback.
- Willingness to travel for monitoring and meetings.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, proof of insurance, and ability to meet driving standards.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years working with I/DD preferred.
License/Certification:
Driver's License required.
