Residential Child and Youth Care Practitioner

Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated Residential Child and Youth Care Practitioners for a group home for teenage girls. Supervises and provide guidance to clients during free time and planned activities. Work in direct contact with the persons with emotional and behaviorally disabilities.

Duties

• Supervise clients and is responsible for their welfare, safety, and whereabouts at all times.
• Implements group home programs that aid in the social, physical, creative, and emotional development of clients.
• Acts to ensure a safe, clean and healthy living environment at all times.
• Serves as a positive role model to clients by providing an example for acceptable behavior, language, and dress.

Physical Requirements

• Walking, standing, bending, stooping, and sitting.
• Ability to perform passive restraints.
• CPR and first aid.
• Requires continuous normal hearing (40-60 decibels with correction).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.75 per hour

Work Location: In person
