Job Description

CleanScapes by Barlow is a growing residential and commercial cleaning company serving the Capital Region. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Residential Cleaning Specialist to join our team.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys creating clean and welcoming spaces, and can work well both independently and with a team. Our residential cleanings include routine home cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, and detailed home resets.

We are looking for someone dependable, positive, and willing to grow with the company.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality residential cleaning services

Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and common spaces

Dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize surfaces, and complete detail work as needed

Follow client-specific notes, checklists, and company standards

Communicate clearly with the team regarding schedule updates or client needs

Maintain a professional, respectful, and trustworthy presence in clients’ homes

Work efficiently while still paying attention to detail

Ideal Candidate

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Comfortable working in private homes

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication skills

Willing to learn our systems, standards, and cleaning methods

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Requirements

Reliable transportation is required

Valid driver’s license preferred

Ability to travel between client locations

Working cell phone required

Ability to stand, bend, lift, kneel, vacuum, mop, and perform physical cleaning tasks

Prior cleaning experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate

Schedule

Part-time

Approximately 20–35 hours per week

Daytime weekday availability preferred

Some flexibility may be needed based on client schedules

Compensation

Starting pay is typically $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience, reliability, and skill level. There may be opportunities for additional hours and growth as the company continues to expand.
