Residential & Commercial Service Technician

Duties

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems & generators
• Perform maintenance on systems to ensure optimal operation
• Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently in both residential and commercial settings
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
• Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders accurately, and document all repairs performed
• Operate a vehicle safely to travel between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws
• Assist with equipment repair, installation projects, and routine maintenance tasks as needed to support property operations
• Be on call on a rotating schedule. Good communication skills are a must.

Requires experience as a service technician with a background in construction or mechanical trades

• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems
• Mechanical knowledge related to air conditioning units
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be drug free, pass a background check
• Familiarity with Ohmmeters or similar electrical testing tools; ability to interpret electrical measurements
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining safety standards

Pay: $16.00 - $35.00 per hour
