Residential Construction Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all kitchen design and remodeling projects. In this role, you will manage the project to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, and maintain strong client satisfaction. You will also collaborate closely with the design, sales, and administrative teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Scheduling

- Develop detailed project schedules and timelines in collaboration with designers and clients.

- Manage any unforeseen issues that can arise from a remodeling project.

2. Quality Control

- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations.

- Implement best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

- Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with safety regulations, design specifications, and project plans.

- If needed, onboard new trade partners and teach them the quality standards of the business.

3. Budget Management

- Manage project budgets, track costs to prevent overruns.

- Collaborate with procurement to source cost-effective materials while maintaining quality.

4. Client Communication

- Serve as the point of contact for clients during the production phase.

- Address and resolve client concerns promptly and professionally.

- Provide regular updates on project status.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, or similar role in kitchen design, remodeling, or construction.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design plans.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Experience working with custom cabinetry, countertops, and high-end finishes.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or construction-related certifications.
