SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
Role
The project manager is an on-site manager of the construction project. The project manager is charged with producing quality artisanship on time and on budget and with providing exceptional client service for a superior remodeling experience. The project manager is experienced and knowledgeable in all phases of construction from foundations to trim-out. Your experience, people skills, management capabilities, and ability to effectively orchestrate labor, materials, subcontractors and building inspectors are crucial to the success of the projects assigned to you.
General Job Requirements
- Demonstrate proficiency at reading blueprints.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Have a valid Tennessee driver's license, proof of insurance, and a reliable truck or van, preferably late-model kept clean and dent-free.
- Read and write to a minimum of a 12th grade level.
- Be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
- Be organized.
Customer Satisfaction
You are responsible for:
- Accurately representing and upholding the principles of the company and conducting yourself in a manner consistent with the company’s objectives and mission
- Maintaining sophisticated client relationships and managing client expectations

Job Site Supervision
You are responsible for:
- Meeting the commitments the company has made to the client as communicated to you in writing and via project plans and documents.
- Creating and maintaining a project schedule designed to complete the job on budget and on schedule.
- Building to the intent of the drawings
Supervision and Scheduling of Subcontractors
You are responsible for:
- Reviewing and understanding plans, specifications, site conditions and budget amounts for all subcontracted work
Inspections
You are responsible for:
- Knowing the process of getting an inspection in all jurisdictions in which we work
Material Management
You are responsible for:
- Ordering the proper amount of materials to ensure that trips to the lumberyard during the working day are limited
- Receiving material deliveries, signing receipts, and checking for accuracy and condition of the materials
- Storing materials in a way that reduces damage or theft after they are delivered to the site
Maintenance of Job Paperwork
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your job's project notebook complete and up to date, including all records, daily logs, change orders, purchase orders, permits, materials lists, rough-in information and any other project documentation. Utilize Project Management Software - Buildertrend.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
