Residential Construction project manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Residential Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee residential building projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in construction management, project scheduling, and site coordination will drive successful project outcomes while maintaining excellent communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of residential construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop detailed project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or similar tools to track progress and milestones.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to accurately execute project plans.
• Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and daily reports.
• Oversee construction site activities to ensure safety protocols are followed and quality standards are maintained.
• Utilize construction estimating tools like HeavyBid or similar software to prepare accurate cost projections and control expenses effectively.
• Monitor project progress through regular site visits, schedule updates, and communication with all stakeholders.
• Implement project management best practices using construction management software for scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting.
• Foster strong project coordination among team members to resolve issues promptly and keep projects moving forward efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential construction management with a solid understanding of construction site operations.
• Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with construction estimating software like HeavyBid or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and construction drawings.
• Experience with civil 3D or similar civil engineering design software is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices on residential construction sites.

Pay: $57,164.02 - $68,842.70 per year
