Bramante Homes has been building custom homes in Charlottesville and the Shenandoah Valley since 1978. We specialize in custom residential construction and are seeking a Superintendent to join our growing team.

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Superintendent with a background in custom home construction. This role is responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Candidates must be able to commute to or relocate to Charlottesville, VA.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and correct hazards immediately
• Communicate with the executive team to resolve worksite issues quickly and effectively
• Update daily job logs in construction management software, upload photos, and complete production checklists
• Convey project details to trade partners and coordinate schedules
• Ensure compliance with all plan documents and specifications
• Work with local and state building officials to meet inspection requirements
• Schedule material deliveries as needed
• Complete project take-off estimates and maintain knowledge of project requirements
• Ensure job site cleanliness throughout the project

Qualifications

• Knowledge of residential construction materials and techniques
• Strong professionalism and client service skills
• Previous experience working with Virginia agencies and building officials is a plus
• Relevant project management experience in residential construction
• Strong organizational and detail orientation skills
• Familiarity with construction management software is a plus
• Proven leadership and negotiation abilities with a focus on deadlines and quality

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year (based on experience)
