Residential Construction Superintendent

Fountain Construction is a growing residential construction company focused on remodels, additions, and custom projects. We are Aggie-owned and operated, faith-centered, and family-minded. We take pride in delivering quality craftsmanship and exceptional client experiences.

We are looking for a hands-on Construction Superintendent who can take ownership of projects in the field, coordinate workers, communicate confidently with others, and keep projects moving forward without constant direction.

This role is for someone who values integrity, takes initiative, and holds a high standard for themselves and others.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily activity on residential projects
• Coordinate and schedule and meet with workers
• Review scope of work and ensure proper craftsmanship
• Maintain project timelines and protect budgets
• Communicate clearly and effectively with others
• Solve problems in real time with sound judgment
• Order materials and confirm deliveries
• Maintain clean, safe, professional projects
• Provide daily progress updates and photos
• Manage punch lists and project closeouts
• Assist with marketing initiatives and avenues
• Review projects for estimate details

Qualifications:

• Understands residential construction
• Can interpret plans and scopes accurately
• Organized, but practical in execution
• Accountable and dependable without unnecessary conflict
• Strong communicator with professional presence
• Initiative-driven and disciplined
• Maintains high standards of job site cleanliness and quality
• Detail-oriented and ability to understand project outcome
• Service-minded and supportive of team culture
• Willing to continue learning and improving

Experience:

• Background in construction supervision
• Coordination of multiple projects at once
• Knowledge of residential materials and building practices
• Proficient with smartphone, email, and project apps
• Strong communication etiquette
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean background check
• Negative drug screen
