You'll install residential elevators, LU/LA elevators, wheelchair lifts, and material handling lifts across the Phoenix metro and Nevada markets — working alongside a tight-knit technical team that takes pride in quality craftsmanship and customer service.

Your Career Path

Helper / Technician → Senior Technician → Lead Mechanic

We invest in people who show up ready to learn. As you grow, you'll take on more complex installs, mentor newer team members, and step into a leadership role on job sites.

What You'll Do

• Install and commission residential and commercial elevator and lift systems
• Conduct job site reviews for installation correctness and code compliance
• Interface directly with general contractors, builders, and homeowners
• Develop working knowledge of safety codes and regulatory requirements
• Train and support newer team members as you advance
• Work independently and as part of a two-person crew

What We're Looking For

Required

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs.
• Professional communication skills — you'll be the face of Abbey on every job site

Preferred

• Experience with electronic, electro-mechanical, or hydraulic systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and operate a multimeter
• Familiarity with circuit boards, PLCs, or DC control circuits
• AAS degree in Electronics Technology, Industrial Automation, Automotive, or Engineering Technology — or equivalent hands-on experience
• Prior elevator or lift installation experience (we will train the right candidate)
