Pay Range: Clear Path to $45k+ based on experience

Compensation Breakdown:

Hourly Rate: $18 - $22/hr
Annual Range: $37k - $45k plus On-Call and Overtime

Full-Time
Monday - Friday, 8 Hour Shift, Starting at 7:30am
Saturday: Rotating Half-Day Shifts
On-Call and Overtime Options are Available

Requirements:

1 year of experience in the garage door industry
Must have good mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to understand and work with common power tools.
Must have a valid driver's license
Pass drug test and background check
Forklift certification preferred
Great communication skills
Must be able to lift to 80 pounds and carry for a distance of up to 50 feet.
Must be able to read and write legibly and accurately.
Must be able to climb and work from a 12’ step ladder.
Must have basic arithmetic skills.
Must have a neat & professional appearance.

Position Summary:

As a Residential Garage Door Technician, you’ll install, service, and repair garage door systems that protect what matters most — your customers’ homes and families. With earning potential up to $45K+ annually plus on-call and overtime opportunities, this full-time role provides steady, year-round work, your own company truck, and a clear path to grow your technical skill set.

Core Responsibilities:

Install and service residential garage doors, garage door openers, retractable awnings, and garage storage systems.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete repairs or replacements efficiently and safely.
Respond promptly to service calls, including urgent or priority repairs affecting home safety and access.
Work directly with homeowners, builders, remodelers, and property managers to ensure accurate installation and service.
Educate customers on product operation, maintenance, and safety best practices.
Complete accurate record keeping for customer billing, service tickets, and time tracking.
Maintain service vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean and working condition.
Uphold warehouse and job-site housekeeping standards.
Participate in ongoing product and safety training.
Maintain a professional appearance and deliver respectful, high-level customer service at all times.
Follow company policies, safety standards, and drug-free workplace requirements.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sales Manager or Field Supervisor.

Pay: Up to $45,000.00 per year
