Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment according to schematics and design specifications
• Perform system diagnostics and troubleshoot issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, refrigeration units, plumbing connections, and appliances to ensure optimal operation
• Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately assemble and install systems
• Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving welding, equipment repair, or property maintenance tasks
• Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations such as ammonia refrigeration handling
• Maintain detailed service records, installation logs, and inspection reports for each project

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), plumbing, and appliance repair
• Proven field service experience with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently and implement effective solutions
• Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and technical manuals
• Ability to operate tools such as welders, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
• Experience working with property maintenance systems or boiler operations is a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a <PERSON> driver preferred
• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R safety protocols is desirable
• Mechanical aptitude combined with welding skills or boiler experience enhances your versatility in this role

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
