Purpose
The HVAC Service/Sales Manager is responsible for leading the maintenance and service operations while driving departmental sales growth. This role requires strong HVAC technical knowledge combined with proven sales and leadership experience to ensure exceptional service delivery and revenue achievement.
Essential Job Functions

Oversee coordination and dispatching of field personnel for service and maintenance jobs.

Manage and mentor service technicians, ensuring quality work and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Provide technical troubleshooting support and hands-on training to field personnel.
- Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities for maintenance contracts, upgrades, and system replacements.
- Collaborate with customers to provide solutions that meet their needs while promoting company services and products.
- Ensure timely start-up and execution of maintenance contracts and installations, resolving customer concerns promptly.
- Recommend system revisions, replacements, or upgrades for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Other duties as assigned.
Work Hours
This is an exempt position. Work hours to be determined based on the needs of the business. Extended hours and weekends may be required to meet business needs.
Work Environment
Occasionally exposed to wet, snow, hot, and humid conditions. Subject to dark confined workspaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
Physical Demands
Light to heavy working conditions. Be comfortable with and physically able to safely help lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, stand for long periods of time, bend, crawl and kneel. Must be able to lift 100+ pounds at a time.
Supervisory Responsibility
Direct supervision of HVAC Service Technicians, including hiring, training, performance management, and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Essential Qualifications

HVAC Expertise: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on HVAC experience with strong technical knowledge.
- Sales Leadership: 1-2 years of sales experience demonstrating the ability to lead sales initiatives, close deals, and achieve revenue targets.

Strong time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Position requires excellent leadership skills in order to enhance team productivity and work-related standards.
- Must maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service orientated focus.
- This position requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written communication skills, in addition to well-developed conflict resolution skills.
Education and Experience

Requires a valid driver’s license.
- Requires a high school diploma and/or equivalent.
- Must have at least 3 years of prior experience as a service manager and an HVAC sales manager.
