Residential Interior Designer

Are you familiar with residential or retail design needs of clients in the City and North Shore? Are high-end full-service Design projects on your to-do list? Would you like to work with a top Interior Design firm in Chicago that supports a national client base? Are you early in your career and excited to learn from an experienced designer? Our small, Designer run firm located in River North is looking to add a new member to the team.

Our Designer takes pride in developing new talent who understands our client base and will be a fabulous mentor in your design career.

Some of the key activities include:

• Attend client meetings to understand needs
• Creating and/or editing design notebooks for each project
• Facilitate the project budget
• Expedite orders to ensure on time delivery
• Plan and assist with installations

Layout and design are critical components of full design services we offer. As such, we’d expect candidates to have proficiency with AutoCAD. Additionally, interacting with vendors is part of our life as we request and shop for fabric, place and review orders and inspect merchandise when it arrives.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or appropriate experience. We are looking for the right fit which might include entry-level candidates to join the growing team. You must have experience with AutoCAD. We look forward to providing training and mentorship as needed or collaborating with those able to bring new ideas to the team. We are especially interested in candidates who are flexible, decisive, and reliable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
