Residential Kitchen and Bath Designer

Are you a driven, dedicated Interior Designer passionate about interior design who enjoys putting their creativity to work for the customers and exceeds customer’s expectations?

We are looking for a creative and experienced Interior Designer to undertake a variety of residential projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to determine objectives and requirements for project
• Determine the client’s goals and requirements for the project
• Undertake design project from concept to completion
• Give preliminary estimates, costs and drawings on projects
• Prepare detailed project specifications
• Prepare scaled drawings, using computer software
• Prepare contract for project
• Prepare final drawings, pricing, bidding and selections
• Research and decide on materials and product sourcing
• Place orders for materials and oversee the installation of the design elements
• Visit worksites to ensure that construction adheres to architectural plans
• Visit the site after the project is complete, to ensure that the client is satisfied

Requirements

• Degree in Interior Design
• 5+ years of proven working experience in designing residential projects
• Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, and all installations
• Hands on experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect and/or similar design software
• Excellent portfolio of previous works
• Proficient time management to facilitate working on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Organized, detail oriented, deadline driven, fast pace team player
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong technical and practical CAD skills with an understanding of architectural conventions, including floor plans, sections, millwork, mechanicals and furnishings

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,123.00 - $75,456.00 per year
