Residential Landscape Designer

Job Overview

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for meeting clients in designated territories
• All appointments set by office staff
• Create horticulturally sound designs based on clients needs and budget
• Able to effectively estimate projects
• Give effective design presentations
• Create long-lasting relationships with clients
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, One Note, Excel and Power Point
• Able to create hand drawn designs
• Proficient plant knowledge for Zones 5-6
• Manage projects effectively with clear and concise communication with clients and Crew Leader before and throughout the installation process.
• Responsible for follow-up with clients after job completion
• Responsible for sourcing materials and plants not available through our sources
• Work with Landscape Design Team for coordination and scheduling of projects

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-year associate degree in landscape design/horticulture
• Minimum of 5 years in landscape design/ sales
• Able to work seasonally 6 days a week.
• Able to work evenings to meet clients needs during peak seasons
• Proven record to sell $500,000 + in landscape installation projects
• Must have valid drivers license with clean driving record
