Residential Landscape Project Manager

Garden Design, Inc. is seeking an energetic Residential Project Manager to join our employee-owned team. This position requires you to be hard working, have excellent communication skills, have the ability to appreciate team work and deliver services better than others. We work directly with home builders, homeowners and subcontractors to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for an associate with an entrepreneurship spirit, a team player mentality and a competitive attitude.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage and follow landscape and outdoor living projects from conception to completion.
• Work with landscape designers and sales to ensure design, scheduling, materials, etc. for projects.
• Oversee many aspects of design-build projects to ensure they are in line with project goals.
• Coordinate multiple crews and subcontractors on homes to ensure that work is completed in accordance with plans and specifications as well as the clients’ expectations.
• Ensure that all jobs are completed according to plans, are within budget and according to promised deadlines.
• Maintain and improve long-term relationships with clients and home builders.
• Serve as the main point of contact and trusted adviser to clients and home builders on project installation issues.
• Representing the company, interfacing and building relationships with homeowners, home builders and subcontractors.
• Inspect all field work; analyze and resolve problems.

Education, Experience & Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in landscape / construction industry with extensive field/ build experience.
• Proficient with computers and smart devices.
• Ability to read and layout plans.
• Knowledge of Central Texas plants, soils and best practices.
• Strong communication skills that allow you to communicate effectively with builders, homeowners and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of local/city/development regulations regarding plantings, landscape design, outdoor construction and permitting.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Strong work ethic.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction Science, or Construction Manager preferred.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
