Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Residential / Light Commercial Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in residential and light commercial settings. Your expertise will help ensure our projects meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and craftsmanship, contributing to the creation of beautiful and functional living spaces.
Duties
- Install and repair electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures in residential and light commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately execute projects
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues
- Work with low voltage systems including security alarms, lighting controls, and communication wiring
- Follow NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure all work complies with safety regulations
- Assist with renovation projects by framing carpentry and handyman tasks as needed
- Troubleshoot high voltage and low voltage electrical systems efficiently and safely
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrician in residential or light commercial settings; industrial electrician experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, schematics, and blueprint reading
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing devices
- Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety and quality standards
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems is desirable
- Ability to read technical schematics and electrical diagrams accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations; additional certifications in high voltage or NEC compliance are advantageous. Preferred but willing to train.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
