Job Overview
Brittenum Mortgage is the mortgage partner of Brittenum Residential in Springdale, Arkansas, providing homebuyers a seamless purchase financing experience for new construction homes. We are seeking a motivated, licenses Residential Mortgage Loan Originator to join our growing team and help clients secure purchase financing for their new home.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential purchase loans including Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA Rural Development programs
• Guide new home buyers through the loan process from initial consultation and application through closing
• Collect, review, and submit complete loan files to processing in a timely manner
• Partner closely with the sales team to deliver a smooth, integrated home buying experience
• Manage active pipeline and provide consistent communication to buyers and the Brittenum Residential team
• Ensure full compliance with federal and state lending regulations including RESPA, TRID, and ECOA
• Develop and maintain referral relationships with Realtors and community partners
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly production and customer satisfaction goals

Requirements

• Active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license — required
• Active Arkansas state mortgage license, or ability to obtain prior to start date — required
• 1–2 years of residential mortgage origination experience
• Working knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and/or USDA Rural Development guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first approach
• Ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency with mortgage point-of-sale (POS) and loan origination software (LOS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a builder-affiliated or captive mortgage program
• Established referral network in the Northwest Arkansas market
• Familiarity with Fannie Mae Desktop Underwriter (DU) or Freddie Mac Loan Product Advisor (LPA)
• Experience with Encompass LOS by ICE Mortgage Technology
