Residential Painter

WOW1DAY Painting is hiring painters for the 2026 painting season and beyond. We are currently looking for experienced painters. Full time positions or part time positions available.

We've got work. What we need are painters.

PAY: - $18-30 per hour.
Two week trial Period: $18/hr
Trainee/Helper $18/hr
Experienced painters 20-25/hr
Team Leads 25-30/hr

Trainee Qualifications:

• No prior painting experience required.
• Willingness to learn.
• Having a positive attitude.
• Able to complete tasks in coordination with other team members.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Comfortable working on ladders.
• Ability to receive feedback and implement it.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Asheville-Hendersonville area.

Experienced Painter Qualifications:

• All Trainee Qualifications.
• Understand profession painting procedures.
• Ability to complete tasks to a high standard without direct supervision.
• Able to move and use 32 or 40ft ladders in a safe manner.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Asheville-Hendersonville area.

Team Lead Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills with co-workers and clients.
• Understand and able to explain all steps / processes of painting interior, exterior, cabinets, decks, and any other structural components.
• Able to coach, teach, and mentor lesser skilled painters.
• A "Help others be their best" mentality.
• Demonstrate excellent painting skill in all aspects.
• Drivers License and a clean driving record (Company vehicle provided)

What We Provide:

• Company uniform (shirt)
• Paint brushes, rollers, and other tools required for job completion.
• Flexibility with hours and scheduling.
