The exterior season is almost here, and GLS Painting is growing! We are looking for hardworking individuals to join Central Iowa’s premier residential painting team. Whether you’re a seasoned pro who can lead a crew or a motivated worker looking to learn a high-demand trade, we have a spot for you.

Compensation: $17.00 – $32.00 per hour (Pay based on experience and role)

We Are Hiring For Two Key Roles:

1. Lead Exterior Painters

• The Pro: You have 2+ years of professional residential experience.
• The Skills: Expert at airless spraying, high-ladder work, and thorough exterior prep (scraping, caulking, Wood-Filler).
• The Leadership: You can manage a 2–3 person crew, talk to homeowners, and keep the project on schedule without sacrificing our "Quality First" reputation.

2. Painting Helpers / Apprentices

• The Hustle: No professional experience? No problem. We will train anyone with a strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude.
• The Support: You’ll assist with pressure washing, masking windows, sanding, and keeping the job site organized.
• The Growth: This isn't just a summer job; it’s a chance to learn a trade from the best in Des Moines and move up the pay scale quickly.
