What You’ll Do

• Work with architects, builders, home owners and in-house designers to develop residential construction documents to satisfy client needs while maintaining practical, cost-effective engineering solutions
• Design and engineer structurally sound, code-compliant residential projects
• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to collect data and measurements required for project progression.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, builders and homeowners to bring concepts to life
• Perform structural calculations and create detailed drawings
• Ensure projects meet local building codes and permit requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (PE license preferred)
• Experience in residential design, construction, engineering and permitting
• Ability to perform on-site evaluations and problem-solve in real-time
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or other design software
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
